Alfonso Rene Lopez, born on October 30, 1947, departed this life peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was the beloved husband of Maria Concepcion Lopez, a cherished father, and a treasured grandfather, whose legacy will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

Alfonso is survived by his devoted spouse, Maria Concepcion Lopez, with whom he shared a life rich in love and companionship. He was a proud father to his daughter, Veronica R. Ghavidel Lopez, and his two sons, Alfonso Rene Lopez Aranda and Alejandro R. Lopez Aranda. The warmth and affection he cultivated within his family were felt deeply by his grandchildren: Bryan Christopher Dumbauskas Lopez, Stephanie Ghavidel Lopez, Sophia V. Ghavidel Lopez, Ixchel Jade Lopez Martinez, and Gauri Alejandra Lopez Martinez, who will cherish their memories of him.

In addition to his immediate family, Alfonso is survived by his siblings, Laura Lorenia Lopez De Martinez, and his brothers, Juan Carlos Lopez Villarreal, Alberto De Jesus Lopez Villarreal, Enrique De Jesus Lopez Villarreal, and Fernando Lopez Villarreal.

 His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones, as they honor his memory and the indelible mark he made on their lives.
