Baldemar Zacarias passed away on October 20, 2026, in Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 81. He was born on April 22, 1945, in Nava, Coahuila, Mexico.

Mr. Zacarias will be remembered as a man with a dry sense of humor who liked to joke around and meet life in a direct, genuine way. What people saw was what they got. He was a hard worker who worked constantly, a simple man who admired and loved the rancher way of life, and a devoted family man who took great pride in his children. His steady nature, strong work ethic, and unmistakable personality left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Del Rosario Zacarias; his sons, Baldemar Zacarias, Jr. and Jesus David Zacarias; his sisters, Antonia Zacarias Balderas, Maria De Pilar Zacarias Balderas, Oralia Zacarias Balderas, Olivia Zacarias Balderas, Juanita Zacarias Balderas, and Martha Elena Zacarias Balderas; and his brothers, David Zacarias Balderas, Jose Macario Zacarias Balderas, and Jesus Zacarias Balderas. He also leaves behind the many relatives and friends who shared in his life and will continue to carry his memory forward with love and respect.

He was preceded in passing by his sons, Gerardo Ramon Zacarias and Adrian Zacarias, and by his brother, Manuel Zacarias Balderas. Their memories remained part of his life and his family’s story, and they are remembered with him now.

Cremation services will take place on October 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Riojas Funeral Home, 1451 S Veterans Blvd, Eagle Pass, Texas 78852.

Baldemar Zacarias will be remembered for his humor, his honesty, his tireless work, and the pride he carried for his family. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
