Bertha Alicia Coronado

Bertha Alicia Coronado, a beacon of joy and warmth, left this world on September 20, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on May 27, 1959, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, Mexico, she graced the lives of many with her ever-present smile and compassionate spirit.

A devoted mother, Bertha is survived by her beloved children, Paloma Martinez, Libby Martinez, and Abelardo Jr. Martinez. Her legacy continues through them, as she nurtured them with unconditional love and unwavering support. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Teresita Coronado De La Rosa, Maria Del Refugio Coronado De La Rosa, and Blanca Estela Coronado De La Rosa.

Bertha was known for her infectious smile, which could light up any room, and her kind heart, always open to helping others. She was a pillar of strength within her family and inspiring those around her with her positivity and zest for life.

The celebration of her life will take place at Riojas Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcomed to join in honoring Bertha’s memory during the following services:

- A viewing will be held on September 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM on the same day.

- Another viewing will take place on September 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, leading into a Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Church scheduled for 11:00 AM on September 25, 2025.
