Enrique G. Garza, born on July 15, 1935, in Puente Negro,Coahuila, Mexico, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025, in Eagle Pass, Texas. He lived a life marked by dedication and love for his family, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and warmth.

Enrique is survived by his beloved spouse, Laura Garza, and his cherished children: Gladys Esmelda Garza and Enrique G. Garza, Jr. He also leaves behind three devoted sisters, Romelia Garza de Gonzalez, Blanca Nelie Garza de Gonzalez, and Elida Garza de Garza, as well as two adored grandchildren who were a source of great joy in his life.

Enrique’s impact on his family will be fondly remembered. The love he shared and the values he instilled in his children and grandchildren are a testament to his character and spirit.

Visitation services will be held at Riojas Funeral Home in Eagle Pass on December 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. A Mass will follow at St. Joseph Church on the same day, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM followed by Cremation Services on Monday, December 15, 2025

His family and friends will gather to honor his memory, sharing stories and moments that reflect the long-lasting influence he had on those around him. Enrique G. Garza will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to reside within the hearts of all who knew him.
