Jorge Alvarez Martinez, born on April 23, 1962, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Eagle Pass, Texas. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, and grandfather, deeply rooted in his family and community.

Jorge is survived by his beloved spouse, Zulema De Luna Elizondo; his cherished children, Zaidy Marisela Martinez and Jorge Zaid Martinez; and his treasured grandchildren, Marissa Martinez, Mia Martinez, and Alberto Garza. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: Norma Martinez, Rigo Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Jose Martinez, and Rafael Martinez. Jorge's legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories shared with his family.

He was preceded in death by two of his brothers, Sergio Martinez and Haro Martinez. Their absence is felt deeply as Jorge’s life journey is commemorated and celebrated by those who love him.

A visitation service for Jorge Alvarez Martinez will be held at Riojas Funeral Home, located at 1451 S Veterans Blvd, Eagle Pass, Texas on November 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Jorge leaves behind a remarkable legacy that reflects his dedication to family and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
