Jose Flores, Jr., beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away on February 9, 2026, in his hometown of Eagle Pass, Texas, at the age of 58. Born on May 16, 1967, in Eagle Pass, Jose lived a life defined by dedication to his family.

Jose is survived by his loving children, Joanna Flores, Joey Humberto Flores, and Rodrick Flores. He was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren who brought him immense joy. His nurturing spirit will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Jose was the son of Blanca Estela Hernandez and the late Jose Flores, Sr. His siblings included Aide Flores Contreras, Guadalupe De Luna, and Raul G. Hernandez, who all shared bonds of love and support throughout their lives. He also mourned the passing of his sister, Linda Luz Luevanos, who predeceased him.

The family and friends of Jose Flores, Jr. invite loved ones to gather in remembrance at the Riojas Funeral Home, located at 1451 S Veterans Blvd, Eagle Pass, Texas. Visitation will be held on February 13, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. On February 14, 2026, visitation will continue from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, leading into a Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes at 11:00 AM. followed by Cremation Services at a later date.
