Norma I. Casas, born on July 29, 1960, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on June 5, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Norma’s life was marked by her dedication to her family and her enduring commitment to the values that shaped her from an early age.

A native of Piedras Negras, Norma carried with her the rich cultural heritage of her birthplace throughout her life. 

Norma is survived by her cherished siblings: Maria Magdalena Casas, Belia Casas Sanchez, Adriana Casas Sanchez, Armando Casas Sanchez, Melecio Casas Sanchez, Francisco Casas Sanchez, Jose Casas Sanchez, and Jesus Casas Sanchez. Their lifelong bond was a testament to the close-knit family ties that Norma treasured deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Rosa Elva Casas Sanchez and brother Felipe Casas Sanchez, whose memories she held dear.

Norma I. Casas’s passing is felt profoundly by her family and all who knew her. Her legacy endures in the hearts of those she loved and the many lives she touched with her quiet strength and unwavering support. As her family gathers to honor her memory, they celebrate the life of a woman whose influence will be remembered with love, respect and affection.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico 

Mass will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Iglesia Parroquia Nuestra Senora de San Juan de Lagos followed by interment at Panteon Santo Cristo in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico
